Using Gauge from Claude and other AI agents

Gauge has an MCP server, which means AI agents you already use — like Claude — can read your live Gauge data and answer with your real numbers: "How am I fueling this week?" works from anywhere.

Connect Claude

1. In Claude on the web, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
2. Paste the Gauge server URL: https://mcp.ongauge.app (it's shown with a Share button in the app under Settings → Connections → Claude & MCP clients).
3. Sign in with your Gauge email and approve read-only access.

That's it — ask Claude about your fueling, targets, or training and it answers from your actual data. Any MCP-compatible client works the same way.

What agents can (and can't) do

Approved agents can read your targets, food log, weight trend, workouts, and training plan. They can never change anything — access is read-only and enforced at the database level, not just politely requested.

Revoking access

Settings → Connections lists every connected app with when it was granted. Tap Revoke and that agent immediately loses access to your data.
